AUTUMN + TYLER

We had the best time with Tyler and Autumn during their engagement, so we definitely couldn’t wait for their wedding day to arrive. But suddenly October 4th, 2024 was here! We were the first vendor to arrive, and we immediately feel in love with the beautiful, tucked-away ceremony area.

The bridal getting-ready cottage was probably the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, and is conveniently located right next to the outdoor ceremony seating area. The roof hangs over the front porch, giving it shade, and some thoughtful person had installed some nails that worked fabulously for hanging Autumn’s wedding dress! I was so happy, because finding a spot to hang a wedding dress that has both correct lighting and is safe from dirt/bugs/snagging/dust/leaves/the-groom-seeing-it is kind of a huge deal. (wink)

Autumn decided to do a first look with Tyler, and he had such a sweet, genuine response. After their first look, we took some family photos with Tyler and Autumn’s cute kiddos.

After giving them a few minutes to enjoy their first look, we whisked them away for a brief photo shoot, just the two of them. It was so cool to see them relax and have fun. Tyler immediately started making Autumn giggle.

I think Simply Country Barn has my favorite outdoor ceremony area! It is nestled in a tiny clearing surrounded by trees, has beautiful rustic bench seating, and has two trees growing in the middle of the seating area, giving it a very secluded feeling.

Tyler and Autumn were so excited to officially be Mr. & Mrs. White!!

Simply Country Barn offers generously in terms of space, with the upper level dining hall able to seat up to 250 people. On the other end is a large dance floor with ample room for a large DJ set up. In between you’ll find a nice size bar with additional seating. According to their website, they also offer a lower level for events; and that lower level is also open year-round.

I completely fell in love with the rustic, beautiful interior. And if you’re a photographer shooting a wedding here, you’ll love all the ambient light. Well done, and thank you Simply Country Barn!
